About the "St. Patrick's Day Celebration Tour"...

Every March, I fly back to my "ould sod" - the Jersey Shore - to sing with the Irish and Irish-for-a-day of New Jersey and New York.  I'm so happy to be keeping my musical heritage alive and well.  My audiences teach me over and over that the traditional Irish and Irish-American songs are truly something special. Most of my shows are at private clubs and communities, including about a dozen one-man-shows at Retirement Communities.

A draw back of the tour is leaving my family behind; and leaving my wife, Pixie to single-parent.  The rest of the year, though, we are blessed to have so much quality family time together.   We - the 'Colorado Byrnes' are doing very well.  Very Fortunate.  We just celebrated River turning 11.   He is loving skiing and excitedly reported his first "360's" today. Meanwhile, Tenzin Jude, at 3 and a half, is a delightful, funny little boy-with a promising singing voice and mind of his own!

St. Patrick's Day Celebration

Irish Show

Jimmy Byrne presents a musical trip to Ireland complete with old ballads, pub songs and a dose of Irish humor. With his warm presence, his engaging singing voice and his versatility on piano and guitar, his music invokes the Spirit of Irish.

Jimmy lives in Colorado with his wife and son, but he has been a part of Irish-American entertainment in New Jersey since he was four years-old. That's when he first sang for the audience of two thousand people at his father's famous Jimmy Byrne's Sea Girt Inn (at the Shore). He's been hooked on Irish songs ever since. He loves the rousing approach to the famous songs of Ireland which is a trademark of his renowned family of Irish-American entertainers. So he travels back to New Jersey to entertain the Irish and the Irish-for-a-Day every March.

Expect to be touched by an Irish ballad, to clap along to a drinking song, and to sing-out-loud. Jimmy Byrne's celebration of Irish and Irish-American song gets his audiences humming those great Irish tunes through St. Patrick's Day and right into the spring.
